Sweet Ending

And May ended just like that!
It was a very sweet and perfect May 31st for me, when I woke up I saw a note on my bed coming from my grandma, she congratulated me for being a dean's lister again (which was so last year, but certs were given just now) and told me that the whole family's proud of me and that I deserve hugs and kisses for that kind of accomplishment and even asked me out for lunch and for some grocery errands. My lola isn't that showy of her love for us, our relationship can sometimes be passive but when we get to talk about medicine dreams, food, fiestas and politics, that's where priceless moments come along and that's when i realize that even if she doesn't show much affection for us, she is always there through whatever.
And since its going to be a day with granny, I took extra effort in dressing up, maybe because I was overwhelmed with her note and with the invite that I wanna look great and at my best. And ill be meeting up with a friend too to do some shopping, since its going to be a all day mall day, i wanna be at my most comfortable self since there would be a lot of walking to do.

Top: borrowed from my sister
Shorts: BKK find
Shoes: Zara
Bag: Zara
Bangle: Mango

I decided to be very casual with my look but of course I made sure that there's going to be an "ooomphhh" factor, good thing the top, the bracelet and the sling bag i wore added sophistication to my soul even if the other pieces of me were dark and edgy. There is really equilibrium in this look, sort of a classic street wear.

I swear these shorts are epic.
Galaxy prints have been so trendy lately, and it was just now that i realize that when you wear this kind of print, it would really make people turn their heads on you, and you are going to be a scene stealer. My friend  even told me how she adores my shorts that day and said that it was the highlight of my outfit.

And these are the classic pieces I am telling you.
The gold bracelet is my favorite accessory at the moment. It really looks expensive and its very very elegant yet you can easily match it with your casual wear. I usually wear it on meetings and dates.
And here's a new baby for me, I am in love with this bag. I know that the animal print kinda went out of place but then the studs saved it to match the look. Don't you just love this sling? coz it just captivated my heart from this moment on.

Spikes are my choice of armor. I have been wearing these flats almost everyday, and i wouldn't get tired of showing them off, so comfy and so stylish.

The day was just so perfect, full of love and happiness all along. And in that moment, I am INFINITE. Thanks to my goodmorning congrats note, to my granny, to my friend, to long walks with you, to our laughs, to our never ending talks and jokes, to the shopping, to the sweet words, to the sweetest surprise, and to the pizza!
It was a sweet summer ending, just like sunsets there would always be "good" in "goodbyes"

So that's it how do you like my look?
Summer started so beautifully and ended so sweet. Summer 2k13 is one of the best summer ever. EPIC would always be EPIC.

Blue Skies

This is what I wore for the Uniqlo grand opening last May 24 at SM City Pampanga.
Since this is a big event in the fashion world in our province, i should also be at my most fashionable look and since there would be people from the media and newspapers, I have to be very presentable since they might roll the camera on me hahaha.

I decided to be very girly on that event.
I dressed up myself into a living doll because I want to be different from the others who were just in their ordinary tees and jeans or shorts plus I was with my blogger friends so what do you expect, dressing up is where we are good at. But as much as possible i would just like to look so simple yet lovely, so im back in the literal dress-ing up game.

Dress: Zara
Shoes: H&M
Bangles and earrings: H&M

This dress is so nice, it brings out the doll look in me pretty well and the color is so light that it doesn't hurt the eye. I really love this style because there's a dress within then it was overlayed by a sheer thingy on top of it, but even if it was layered, it is still so flowy and very light, it did not even make me feel warm or what. Its good to invest on this kind of dress and you can only find it at brands which may be pricey but I swear every centavo is worth it since it brings out your fashionista self and the assurance of a good quality and comfort. I haven't seen a dress like this on online shops yet, but hopefully the local brands would make such.

Light colors or pastels really make every girl look sweet and lovely. Don't you think?
It brings out the our inner Taylor Swift and really makes us look fresh and young. Its great to get away once in a while with bold and loud colors and better try the shades of summer.
I went monochromatic on the color palette, and everything just reminded me of blue skies shining shimmering and glittering on a hot summer day.

More girly pegs on my next posts. Stay tuned.

BKK Ootd: Never Give Up

Hi guys!
I had been on hiatus for the past few days and now that I'm back I'll share to you my wonderful experience on my short "me" time.
If you have been following me on twitter and on instagram, you know that I spent 4 days and 3 nights at Bangkok, Thailand. The vacation was some kind of a reward given to me by my mom because I pulled of a great performance at school last semester, my hardwork has paid off. This trip was my inspiration to do good, it has always been my wish to go to Bangkok since last year, rather than enjoying the city lights at New York, fall in love in Paris or see the cherry blossoms in Japan (but of course, those places is still part of my bucket list). I know Bangkok shouldn't be compared to those elite countries but there's just something in it that made me want to fly and touchdown on its land. I went there to see some of their temples and architectural designs, to eat fresh fruits and of course to shop like there's no tomorrow, believe me shopping in Bangkok is insane!!!

Here is my outfit for Day 2

Muscle tee: Beautologyph (instagram)
Pants: Zara
Shoes: Zara
Skull bracelets: borrowed from my sister
Wire bracelets: SimplyMine Accessories

The itinerary for the day is too visit temples, experience a khlong tour, go to jewelry shops and shop fashion wear. I just want to go with a very light and carefree outfit even if there was a need to wear pants.

Thailand is a tropical country and the weather was so hot like here in the Philippines, it is a big NO to wear jackets, and do layering. Bangkok is known for street fashion and I hope my outfit was just right to make a statement.
Muscle tees are mainstream nowadays, and I my closet has been attacked by these kind of tees, a lot has been wearing such maybe because it has been so hot these days and these tees are just perfect fore the weather and for the summer season.
The first time I laid my eyes on this tee while scrolling down the grids of instagram, I did not think twice on buying it, the statement is such an inspiration reminding all of us to NEVER GIVE UP on your dreams, on your plans and even to experiences.
Oh let me share to you, I modeled for Beautology's first batch of collection, follow them on instagram, I swear they really have great pieces of fashion wear and they are bringing HongKong and Bangkok to Pampanga and the rest of the Philippines.

How do you like my prints on my pants?
I love how playful it is even if they're on their classical black and white.
These pants are away from the mainstream and its really good to be different.
Since I am going to religious places that day, there was a need to wear pants and really wrap myself, I even changed my musclee tees for a while to an ordinary T-shirt. But the pants did not made my legs feel warm, really no sweat from within!

NEVER GIVE UP
on
DREAMS, INSPIRE and  LOVE!

My peg is EDGY today, so black and gold pieces says it all.

Colored reflector shades are what I'm crazy about this time. Cool sunnies way beyond extraordinary!

And of course to complete my outfit, there goes my SPIKEY SHOES THAT KILLS!
I so love the flats from Zara, they don't really hurt your feet even if you walk for miles and ages. Plus they last for a lifetime even if they're a bit pricey at least it offers the best quality!

That's it!
I can assure you, Im back to my regular blogging routine coz there are a lot of outfits to be posted and be blogged about! Stay tuned.

Corporate in Green

The perks of being a blogger happens this 2013, I am happy to tell you that I together with Pampanga Fashion Bloggers are doing a collaboration with Clarkisit, a website that would be launched pretty soon, this is the first project that surprised us on the first quarter of the year and we are so blessed to be trusted by people in the society and it is such an honor to be working with people who appreciates who you are and interested in your craft and passion. Being a fashion blogger, we get to be judged by a lot of people because of our fashion obsession and style staple making them think that our worlds revolve only around clothes, shoes, bags, brands and publicity but that is a totally wrong notion. Fashion blogging leads to advertising and marketing and not about bragging and flaunting what you have, then you just share your stories and your whole life through outfit photos, if you really read every line on a bloggers post and not just look at the pictures then you can get motivation and inspiration in it. We don't use blogging to let the world know we have this and and that, we blog to be expressive of what we are and I am thankful that Clarkisit was able to see our mission as bloggers that's why I swear I would never disappoint them and I would strive hard to write great stories behind outfits as a way of expressing my gratitude to these kind of people.

Dress: Gap
Coat/Blazer: Zara
Shoes: Jellybean
Belt: borrowed from co-blogger Ate Tse
Necklace: SM Department Store
Earrings: SM Department Store

This is 2013's jumpstarter, and so the bloggers decided that we go color coded that day and we chose EMERALD GREEN since it is also the lucky color of the year and it somehow symbolize our unity in fashion and the staffs of Clarkisit were very happy to see us having uniformity it was like their smiles and stares were screaming "Aww, these bunch of people are so cute" and to our surprise the color matches the office of Clarkisit, everything was just so perfect.

The major drawback on this outfit is that I wasn't really at my best in wearing it because the moment I knew we would be wearing green, this is the only thing I have in my closet, the first time I saw the dress I even laughed at it because I thought it was a grass skirt or whatever and scolded mom for buying it then one day to my surprise that's the only dress I needed, so I have no choice. I chose to make use of what I have instead of buying something new then ending up wearing it only once.
The dress doesn't perfectly hug my body, so I borrowed Ate Tse's belt and covered up with a blazer to give a touch of maturity in a corporate attire. I had this corpo look in a modern twist.
If you pay attention to the details of the dress, its just so dramatic because it has drapings on it making it look like a grass skirt or maybe it would be better if I use the words Nina used to describe it, something so Tinkerbell.

Did you already store green stuffs at your closet for 2013?
Lets all be lucky!
Stay tuned for my next posts about our interview at Clarkisit and our cloud9 foodtrip at C!

The Bloomfields

Dress: Zara
Shoes: FnH
Necklace: Recto finds (borrowed from sister)

This outfit is the bomb for an everything in print event.
There's really no danger in florals, it made me feel so blooming and fun that day. And even if this season is meant to be for coats, scarves and boots; here in the Philippines flowers are forever because it's like a taste of summer every day since Mr. Sun never goes away.

This dress has been stuck in my closet since I last wore it on my after party celebration a year ago and I realized how bad ass I am for not having any picture wearing it and when I got invited to go to a print party with my sister (id be blogging hers later) I knew from that moment that this dress spells out perfection.

The prints are just so playful and classy at the same time. It is not the typical floral dress that the society is wearing whenever and wherever but it has something in it that brings out elegance not just because its Zara but the material is really worth its price since it's really made up of good kind of cloth that wouldn't turn it out into something that looks cheap and oh don't you just adore this dress for a tulle surprise on its bottom part? If only there were more tulle and tutu then it would really be perfect for an extraordinary one time big time event of your life. And since the event's going to be a little formal then my accessories and killer shoes cooperated with my peg.

Being blooming does not just happen when your'e in love and falling head over heels over one person but it also happens when you're at your best when you dress up!

By The Eye

Shorts: Zara
Shoes: Nine West
Necklace: SM Department Store
Fox bracelet: Luna Chic
Watch like bracelet with studs: Divi

This look has been existing on my laptop for ages now, sorry for blogging it just now, it was only up until this time when I realized that this is something worth publishing.
This is what I wore when I went to Moa months ago, I opted to wear something comfortable since I would do a lot of walking and strolling at my favorite mall and window shopping at my favorite shops, I really love Moa for bringing all my favorite brands in the heart of the Metro! And finally it was really my target to have one outfit shot by the parking lot and look The Eye is just behind me!

The outfit was in contrast with the golden accessories, I mean its not really typical to pair florals with golds and metals but I dont care, we have to experiment sometimes, so forbid me for being on the mood to wear bling blings that time! All the while I thought I was wearing something light and not too much of heavy baggage but I swear it was like carrying 3 kilos of gold with my necklace but I just love how it outstand and people wouldn't be looking at me and my big face but at my golden pieces.

Im keeping this short guys, I have so many things to do for this rough week!

Happy December! Advance Merry Christmas!

Dark as Black

Top: Zara
Skirt: SM Department Store
Shoes: Jellybean

There's something different about this post, i took the photos and edited it via iphone. I cant believe that my phone would give me an output as sharp and has good resolution as the images taken from a dslr, well I bet I'd be using it more now since I have it with me every single moment of my life compared to the camera which my sister brought with her all along due to the demands of her course.

This outfit gave me a very matured look and it has transformed me into a woman, I guess reality has get in the way now to make me realize that I am not getting any younger. I love the elegance and sophistication black offers, it is really something that would never get mainstream.

Everything here seems to be so dramatic, from the patterns and cut outs on my top up to the draping of the mullet skirt. And this is what made me come up with the realization that the look can be related to true life, the dark side has all the dramas in it and we have to find the light to take us our from darkness and live a bright life painted with colors of love, happiness and contentment.

Fashion fades, but Style is Eternal

Highschool Day

It's good to be back HOME at my beloved Alma Mater!!!
St. Scholastica's Academy of CSFP held one of the most awaited event every year, HIGHSCHOOL DAYS or THE INTRAMURALS!
This is the event that shows the creativity and unity of a Scholastican and time to shine like the brightest star and showcase their talents through their world class performance and high spirit for sportsmanship. Though I wasn't able to see the cheerdance competition by the juniors that day because I am a late bird, I am confident enough to say that they were all great and awesome, good thing the pictures uploaded last night are evidences on what I have just said.
Few years back I was also on that same center stage and danced like it was my final performance, I could not even imagine how nervous I am in doing same routine every year and now that the least I can do is to look at these girl dance, move and groove; whenever I see them play all kind of sports; just by hearing their loudest and most energetic cheers and see them do the traditional wave; all I can feel is that nostalgic feeling because I was once a Scholastican and I will forever be a Scholastican at heart even if I am far away from home now. Good luck to all Kulasa's!

Top: Zara
Pants: SM Department Store
Shoes: Zara
Necklace: H&M
Bracelet: H&M
Bag: Mags

I decided to wear something beyond my style. I call this my "lakas maka-madam" peg because the look has transformed me to a woman not just your ordinary high school girl. I wore this because I want people to see me as a matured lady now and I don't want to compete with the little teenagers there, besides I am already their "ate", Its just a matter of accepting the reality check sometimes.

I was really so shy to do an outfit shot in the middle of Narra Avenue but I just can't help it, so pardon me for being so vain.
I wore my sheer black long sleeves from Zara, it has this conservative style but the material brings out the sexy attitude because it is see through, I was able to flaunt some skin and my big tummy in a minimalistic way! The pant were like semi palazzo, perfect for the matured peg I really want to have. The accessories were aquamarine to match the color of the pants which are matching bling blings, sorry I wasn't able to take photos of the chains' details. I should have worn heels that time so as not to overexpose how unlucky I am to get a to die for height but then I don't want people to give me that kind of a killer stare that's why the flats have saved me.

The main reason why I went at St. Scho that day is not just to be part of the celebration but to mingle with the girls I missed the most.

(L-R) Khym, Bianky, Ashvy, me and my big butt

I am not really the Ms. Friendship type of highschooler and so expect that I did not go there to meet up with the new set of girls of St. Scho instead I went there to see my best friends, my sisters from different mothers... my loveteams forever. We only see each other every school break and since there has been a lot of things going on that need to be spoiled out hardcore, its the perfect time to have that convo overload. The good thing about our friendship with these girls is that even if we have different love teams now than that of our partners 4 years ago when the friendship began what we have never changes and it is only in us that forever exists. I love you girls.

Keis and I have this tradition on taking a picture of us at the hottest spot at St. Scho we call it "doon sa romantic" because that is the place where we walk through if we have break times. Look how much we have grown up as individuals now and I am so happy that what we have stays strong after all the years and all that we had been through.

Us way back 2010 and 2011

Us girls at our favorite spot, the canteen!

Watching the Scholasticans play hardcore!

The high school building behind us.

Our new found friend, Mico; nice meeting you! Let Ashvy do the storytelling about this guys! Hee hee

I love these people, let the good times roll!

What's your nostalgic high school story?

Xoxo :*
