Work in a "Maligaya" way

Leggings: Zara
Shoes: Topshop
Necklace: Quiapo Thrifts
Spike Bracelet: Quiapo Thrifts
Bag: Longchamp

Whenever I run errands I make sure that I am in my most comfortable look and dressing up simple yet colorful has always been my forte especially when it has touches of pink.
Today I went to Maligaya 168 to have a meeting with the management and the PFB gang regarding our haute project this season.
I am happy to announce that I together with the Pampanga based bloggers are going to tie knots in doing collaboration and advertising work with Maligaya 168 which is a shopping center close to the hearts of every Kapampangan. We aim to hit two birds in one stone by promoting business and fashion at the very same time. I am so happy with this project because Maligaya 168 is really a part of me since I was in high school.

Since I know that I will be running from one stall to another to pull out clothes for the big night I decided to wear a something that can make me walk fast, move in high speed or even run so I just wore my favorite style... the basics.

There were 3 basic tops right in front of me as I was preparing and I really had a hard time to choose on what color and style would make up my look but I ended up wearing this Petit Bateau ombre sleeveless. Just so you know Petit Bateau is a French brand which sells items intended for babies but then time passed by and advancements were made that it is now a benchmark for multi-generational style for all members of the family. Items are made from pure cotton and I tell you that it is perfect for the weather here in the Philippines because it would make every Filipino feel cool despite the scorching hot weather.

The color code for the day was all the combination of pink and grey, a mixture of exciting and boring at the very same time. I know they are somewhat contradicting but I bet its good to experiment on fashion sometimes. Then just add a bunch of multi colored accessories then Voila I'm off to work!

Now back to the project:
Maligaya 168 organized a HAUTE HALLOWEEN peg FASHION SHOW for the Pampanga Fashion Bloggers to be held on OCTOBER 27, 2012 SATURDAY at Maligaya 168 lot at 6:00 PM!
This project would be the grand launch of our team and is also a great kind of advertisement for Maligaya 168 since they are the major sponsor for this event and when I say sponsor I have this giggling feeling knowing that they will sponsor the clothes we are going to wear for the night.

I was so happy in choosing the garments I will be going to use because a lot of items are really so fashionable and trendy that every fashionista would be a victim.

I am so happy that the good Lord has given me so much blessings! I know this is not a project like that of a world class fashion week like the our very own or the ones like in New York and Paris but this is a stepping stone to a journey about making that dream come true and without you my readers, this would not be possible. Thanks for supporting MDC and for taking time to read it even if all I have here is merely showcasing how vain I am. I love you guys!

In the Navy

A splurge of Navy Blues! The color made me miss my highschool uniform, ohh that navy blue jumper worn by kulasas (St. Scho students) and maybe it was destiny who made me wear this color to pay tribute to Scholasticans going to school today since its the first day of classes, goodluck ladies!

Today I went all the way to Manila from Pampanga just to pig out with my sister, I promised to pay her a visit and this is the only day where our schedules match. It was my first time to see her in school and it made me realize how fast time flies, our little baby is now in college and 3 and a half years from now she would be an excellent chef then I also came to realize that I am already getting old.

We had lunch/merienda at Army Navy and the colors of my outfit matches its name. I was craving for burgers and burritos and even quesadillas that I am willing to travel 75 kilometers just to have them in my mouth and in my tummy.

Today Im feeling navy!

Dress: H&M
Flats: Zara

Earrings: Dinh Van (French brand)
Finally got the chance to take this pair out of the jewelry box, it was actually my first time to wear it ever since my mom gave it to me, well I always love something classic and elegant and this piece is really perfect for what I adore the most. I am a lover of pearls especially in my day to day look but now trying a classic dangling earrings is something new to me, wearing it made me gain the smart yet fashionable confidence.

 Bag: Longchamp Le Pliage

Sharing to you Army Navy, I bet you're drooling now.
Burger, Freedom Fries, Quesadilla, Iced Tea

My tummy's happy now!

I rarely wear dress here in the Philippines because there are a lot of crazy nasty boys on the streets especially in the Metro but because its too hot today I gave way to this dress even if the wind blows it and I am savoring the last remaining days of my summer vacation wherein I am free to play dress up everyday before I get stuck in dealing with school routines wherein a boring white uniform is a must.

Feminine and Masculine Colors in one

Just a quick post before I go to a getaway with my friends. I hope i wont be talkative because call time is at 1pm, and I only have 10 minutes to blab out everything I want to say before I go.
So this is my outfit for today, I had been inlove with blue lately, the color somehow takes away the girl soul within me but with the touches of pink I have for this day is a total combination of my feminine and masculine side all in one persona.

Top: no brand
Bird printed Shorts: Love Vintage Manila
Candy bracelets: Quiapo thrift
Bag: Longchamp Le Pliage
Slippers: Ipanema

Finally I get to wear what I bought at Love Vintage which was modeled by the stunning Vern Enciso, okay theres a little story behind this item, it was just a replacement of what I really like. I was suppose to order a floral printed dress, they told me it was available then when they checked for the stocks, they made a huge mistake n giving me their Yes because the dress has been sold out in the bazaar they had last time. Because the owners, Stef Martinez and the fashion blogger Lissa Kahayon are so nice and very kind, they replaced my order with this shorts and a top for free   then they even returned my payment. Well thank you so much girls. I would keep on supporting love vintage.

Cute candy color bracelets. Quiapo had them at its cheapest. I bought them for only 40 pesos each. I was suppose to buy DIY supplies there but I ended up buying ready to wear accessories at very low cost!

I have already said too much about what I am wearing. Time Check: 1:02 Im late already!!! Waaahhh.

Im ready to go. Bye guys.
