Vibrant Waves

This is what i wore on my third day at Palawan, i had the third day post first before publishing the second because the second one is going to be a big blow and will forever be my favorite epicness! Now back to this, we were asked to wear something light and comfortable on our visit to the underground river coz its going to be a hot day, so even if its the season for the cold days layering is a big no no unless you want to look like trashy and more of a fashion dork as i tell you the sun never sets at Palawan!

Going to the place will take a two hour drive away from the town so i did not wear something that would allow me to move freely and that would include my hyperactive locomotion on my seat and my bad sleeping habit while on a ride. And so wearing a jumpsuit again is the best option! But ofcourse i would never ever wear something boring in days like this, my clothing would surely bring out fun and excitement through its prints that shows off a summer vibe!

Jumpsuit: H&M
Flat Sandals: French brand (from mom)
Arm candies: Divi
Sunglasses: H&M
Bag: Prada

As you can see the suit i wore wasnt really colorful and so i just made use of a lot of accessories to bring out a color palette! My blings was more of a mash up with neons coz it never fails to bring out boldness! I also adore how my blings matched my sandals and my little sling bag reminding me of a line from a movie saying "its not just a bag, its Prada" hahaha i had that little bag since i was in high school where i was still clueless about brands and it had been kept for ages at our stock room but when i was packing and getting clothes and bags from that room i saw it hanging around the back racks and so i grabbed it right away, i can still remember the innocent me walking around malls with just a small back way back then and now i can be that same old me again. And just because its old, its a little bit dirty already on its edges.

Before I end this post let me tell you a story:
We weren't even able to reach the Underground River because the boatmen and the coastguards won't allow us to travel because its was high tide all day long and waves were really big and scary that has a big capacity to destroy the vessel and drown us. We were really frustrated to see the UR since it is part of the new 7 wonders of the world and it is really something to be proud of and worth visiting, that should be the highlight of this whole trip, i just cant explain the excitement i felt when we were on our way because i cant wait to see how epic and wonderful it is but all we got was disappointment when we went the re.
I was already forcing my brother to bribe the tour guide and boat man so that we can explore the magnificent place but then the people there were protective of the tourists because their number one priority is everybody's safety. They did not care about the money they'll get but they care about our welfare. And that is what Palawenos are, hospitable and caring, they are indeed stewards of God's creation.
I guess there would always be bummers on trips and tours, have you experienced one? =)

Palawan Diary 1: Wildlife and the Hilltop

Let me share to you my day 1 at Puerto Princesa Palawan.
As we touched down the place, we were already scheduled for a day tour and I was so excited because this itinerary would give me an idea of what Palawan would be all about. My mindset was all about the beaches alone so I was surprised that Palawan is not just about the beach but more about nature. And being a sucker for nature's beauty Palawan left me breathless, everything was breathtakingly beautiful and I don't regret spending 4 days of my life in this magnificent island.

We headed right away to Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center, it pulled me closer to animals and the greens and I was able to use my knowledge on Botany and Zoology, yes its great to be in the medical field in moments like this, id never get left behind.
There are only few wildlife establishments in Pampanga and in the Metro, ive been through almost all of them and I really want something new for my sight and a close encounter with all things living on this earth. Though this center is not more of a zoo, atleast I was able to interact with crocodiles, bear, bird, trees and flowers!

Before I take you on tour to the wonderful Palawan, Id like you to meet my awesome siblings who was with me throughout the trip, oh it feels to be surrounded by my loving family. It was like forever since I last traveled with them and now here it is, looking forward for more travels with these two not so little kids.
Chrizza's our youngest baby and Kuya Vj's the eldest.

Crocodile skin art, someday I want to have something like this on the walls of my house, Its more of a collector's item. Don't you just adore it? Especially to the oldies out there.
And there is a skeleton of a very large crocodile.

At the hatching house, youll get to have a close encounter with the crocodiles, from babies to adults to oldies. Seems like they're not moving and not capable of any locomotion. And that made me realize that those whore just quiet and shy type are the deadly ones. Hahaha double meaning again.

If there's such thing as frog prince, what if my prince turned out to be a crocodile and all he needs is my kiss to be real? Oh there goes my randomness again. But what if?really?

I was not anymore amaze by the crocodile farm they have here, coz I have already seen the best crocodile conservatory in Davao but I'm not saying that the one in Palawan isn't nice just pretty okay!

Can't believe I was able to get enough courage to hold a baby croc! I'm a strong big girl now. The baby crocodile is such a cutiepie!

This is what welcomes you on the way to the nature park, if you have great love for plants, you'd surely enjoy this haven.

We met alot of animals in the wildlife conservation center and we were able to touch them and take photos with them, lucky kids we are. Here we are with the hornbill and the very friendly fluffy Binturong!

My photo op with the Binturong was so funny, wasn't able to pull off a great pose with it. I was really afraid it might swallow me because its bigger than me!

Look at our craziness! We even lie down the road in order to have a some kind of a family picture.

Next stop is the Mitra's Rancho.
Its the perfect place to breathe the freshest air and relax while seeing the perfect view from the hill. It's like Tagaytay/Baguio in the town of Palawan. You can enjoy the zipline activity here or just enjoy breathtaking moments while overlooking Palawan.
Here I was able to enjoy the scenery and everything was just so amazing.
I can even lie down on the grass and take a roll from the hill down, bad i wasnt on high to do that!

To end the city tour, we went to Baker's Hill famous for baked goodies and delicacies.
I did not expect that BH would look like a village of everything sweet and fancy, if I would already have my house in the future, I want to have the concept of Baker's Hill!

Don't you just love this modern house on top of a hill? coz that's exactly what ive been thinking for a dream house.

Christmas spirit in the compound.

My sister's such a lovely doll! :">

Here's kuya getting horny about this sexy lady!

Ended the day with good food, refreshing drinks and great guys!

WE LOVE PALAWAN!

Colors on Hiatus

It feels so good to have a sweet escape from reality for 4 days and 3 nights, being on vacation mode is what I exactly need now in order to be relieved from the stress I have been through on the first quarter of the semester, this is the perfect time to unwind and relax, to be worry free and just enjoy life to the fullest and get the Yolo kind of adrenaline. I spent half of my winter/Christmas/holiday break with my siblings at the beautiful island of Puerto Princesa Palawan, we had been deprived on doing this kind of bonding due to certain circumstances that happened, conflict in our schedules, work, and being kilometers and even worlds away from each other; good thing that this vacation enabled us to bond like we were kids again where all we ever want to do is to play, laugh, run around, having fun and enjoying the moments that would take our breath away.

I have been waiting for this vacation for weeks now, it even came to a point that all I could ever day dream about was the beach and the cold breeze on top of the mountains and now that it already happened I felt like I am a lucky girl because I again made one dream come true but i wasn't the one who really made it come true, i was only chasing the dream, good thing I was blessed by a Santa Mama who would make the impossible possible, thanks mom for sponsoring us this trip, we love you <3 and I know she's going to be very happy because I am able to update my blog once again, that's how supportive she is with my passion.

Being a dreamer, I always believe that I can make every dream happen and there's one wish that's part of my list and that is I WILL GO PLACES and with that I am proud to say that:
I CAME, I SAW, I CONQUERED PUERTO PRINCESA!

Now lets talk about the outfit!
All the people in the house has only one request for me and that is to travel light, they even reminded me that I am going to the beach and I don't have to bring heels and gowns or whatsoever, I guess that's really one big problem when you are fond of dressing up especially at my part that I got used to the idea of bringing clothes for a 10 day trip even if we only have 3-4days ever since I was a child I overpack but my fellas have to thank me of i do that because I provide them with everything they're missing from extra clothes, to medicines and all that, believe me overpacking really has an advantage!
But because I am not a naughty child this season, I really did travel light, all the things I need for the trip was just on one backpack and I had one handcarry bag along with me, I guess I deserve a round of applause for being that great for the first time? Hahahaha

Jumpsuit: H&M
Bangles: Divi
Flat Sandals: HDY
Hat: Superb
Sunglasses: Gurly Glam Shoppe

The clothes I brought were just so flowy and light, more of jumpsuits, a dress and few sleeveless and shorts. I see to it that the outfits would allow me to move comfortably, in cases like this I choose comfort over fashion its just that fashion was already one with comfort in this package. Yes, the prints on my outfit saved me and my blogger self at the whole timeline of my vacation.

I will love this sandals for eternity, my feet never complained about getting hurt with this flats. I also love the stretchable garterized details in the boldest shade of yellow, the color's just so summer-ish. I swear I'm really going to collect all colors, I call it falling in love with the things that make you feel comfortable and of things that doesn't hurt. (Hahahaha, double meaning? Naauhh)

The trip brought out my subtle talent for accessorizing, you know I am not really a fan of putting so many stuffs on my neck and arms because I am more of a minimilastic type of girl but this time I really invested into colorful accessories to add fun on my outfit! and can you feel the fun I am saying with these beaded bling blings?

I really felt like a tourist with my hat and shades on and along with my bright handbag and the tourist-ish prints on my jumpsuit. I bet youre feeling the vibes too! do you? Sorry for not giving you breezy peg posts, my mind's twisted I choose summer over winter.

The vacation brought me to a realization mode, i told you that I wouldn't be overthinking right? but there are moments in between that would just let me sit by one corner then think about ways to make me feel okay once again. A lot has happened in the past and all I ever want to do is to bring my old self back and do some kind of a soul searching, my friends knew all the troubles i've been and they advised me to take this opportunity to breathe, just breathe, stop and think and that's what i have been doing on stolen time. I don't consider the thoughts as worries because I know this act would help me find who I once was and begin again. And I promised the people around me that once I ended the vacation that's when Im gonna be okay. Yes, sometimes we have to settle with "okay" than the "best"

So how are you guys?
Did you just enjoy the noche buena traditon and all the parties yesterday? I wish I could talk to you all, I need someone to talk to right now, heehee!

Greeting you all Merry Christmas!
I love you fellas <3
