Chasing Dreams

As I look at the stars on the night sky, I only wish for one thing and that is to be away from stress and busyness even just for a day. In the state of my life at this very instant, it is so hard for me to drop everything and just glue myself on the bed, to keep calm and dream on. Good thing holidays are created, a day to make my wish come true. The long weekend we had recently gave me a sigh and the chance to finally relax and unwind. I spent the first day working on a shoot for the launch of Pampanga Fashion Bloggers and the second and third day was well spent with friends. Finally I was able to get rid and long distance from books, sheets, pens and highlighters and was enjoying the things I am good at, interaction with different people, chatting and playing around with favorite friends, dressing up, writing and getting myself stuck at dream land. A dream catcher would do everything just to make her dreams come true, whether big or small I will never get tired of chasing it.

Home is where the heart is, and it is proven by the photos of this post. It is the only place where I can avoid pollution and just breathe the freshest air. The best spot on my place is the very spacious garden/front or back yard/lawn. It is the perfect place to get yourself relaxed and feel like going wherever the wind takes you.

I don't feel like I am a 19 year old girl with this look, there is really something about Forever 21 that makes every person retain their youth and that is why I will forever adore the brand its because they create something that would give you a ticket to the time machine bringing you to the time of your teenage or even to your childhood years. Nobody gets old with Forever 21.

Since I have been in the blogger world for quite some time now as I look and stare at the photos I have and read between the lines of the entries I was able t get to know myself further. And I can say that I have already knew my style and modify how the Jhavoo style. Blogging would not only let yourself get over expose to your readers instead it is a way of getting to know more about yourself, your fashion, your thoughts and your substance. Blogging made it to a point where in Jhavoo meets Jhavoo.

As for my personal style, I can say that I am really someone so girly. Every post I have would really take out my girl soul. I am even not a woman yet or not even reached my late teenage years because I consider myself and my look just in the middle of my teenage years. Hahahahaha. And the styles I wear, is something very Coachella, like for this outfit if ever I could get the chance to be in that music fest I would never refuse to dress up this way!

The shop was found by my sister online, aside from making her own dreamcatcher for a project in school wherein I helped her, she also purchased online accessories that goes with her all out dream catcher peg, sissy decided to buy me one since she knows what theme my blog has! Dreamcatcher's Charms was so kind and my sister and I adore them for the great service they offered. I have been writing not because I only brag about the clothes, shoes, bags and other stuffs I have. This blog is not only about swag but also about inspiration and as you read my previous entries I have this mission on making you believe that Dreams are forever, just keep on dreaming and make it all come true. It is because every achievement starts from a dream or a wish, if you get to set your goals and you are desperate about getting it you would do everything you can, no matter what it takes just to have it or be there. Yes you have to do something, dreaming is not merely about dreaming, drawing it on your mind, telling it to your heart. A dream will only come true if it is accompanied by actions, when your mind, your heart and yourself works hard just to make it all happen.

Now that I am charmed by my dream catcher, I wish I could attract good vibes and live the good life.

The Dark Knight Rises

This is what I wore last Saturday on my date with my friends, after the heartbreaking, mind boggling exams we had, we decided to chill out and enjoy the best life even just for a while. My friend Inekah treated us for a movie at Gateway and that was just the best escape my barkada and I could ever have! We decided to watch The Dark Knight and I could say that that was just the best movie I have watched for the early quarter of the semester, that my friends and I found ourselves saying the 3 words OH MY GOD for our amusement on the cast, the effects, the climax, twists and the whole story. Thank you my dear friends, we all deserve to be happy after all the stress we have just experienced!

I really have no idea that we would be watching The Dark Knight on that day so my outfit accidentally matched the theme of our day. I am not used in seeing myself edgy because the Jhavoo attitude is all about colors and being in black and white is something rare for somebody like me. But humans evolve everyday, I am starting to learn how to dress up in to something different, I believe I should not just stick in just one style but dress up to describe what is going on in my life at the moment.

The wild cat on my print was so Catwoman, I am even excited to blog about the connecting of my outfit and the movie. And the blazer I am wearing brings the "dark" side of the knight, Batman.

My new lovey, the spikes bracelet! I have been looking for this all around the corner since summer, good thing SM is getting trendy now and when I saw the last piece, I knew on that moment that it is meant to be mine. To add more metallic taste I also wore that metal cuff I bought for 50% off. It is indeed the rise of the Metallic Dark Knight!

I miss you so much guys! Its been a week since I did not get in touch of my laptop, my blog, and my clothes. Blame the heavy school load brought about by the preliminary exams we had last week, the reason why I have a haggard face and big eye bags. And I wish all the sleepless nights I had last week would pay off. Wish me luck, I have just survived the first round of the roller coaster and tomorrows the start of something more crucial and toxic. Imagine how I only got two days to breathe and unwind. Yes two days, then I have to get myself back to reality once again. If only Medtech life would be as easy as dressing up and blogging then I can be the happiest girl living in her teenage dream but the track I chose is the hardest point in my life so far that I am deprived of almost all the best things in life, the only thing that keeps me strong is that I have to enjoy the hardships because the battle would bring me into a world of brighter tomorrow!

The first time I laid my eyes on this aztec printed shirt I knew back then that I need to have it. But then when my sister saw it, she claimed that she owns it and being a very good sister, I gave it to her and just picked the other item (to be blogged soon) so thanks sister for letting me borrow your top (coz she gets mad if I don't claim it as hers)

I am totally in love with aztecs now, and the lines on this top is a major turn on. The patterns are went well and it did not look OA! Well that is what I like about Forever 21, they give you a trendy look without over designing the item plus I feel forever young when I wear F21!

And for the shorts, good thing I brought with me this high waisted item so that my belly wont appear and my fats won't be seen. I even paired it with a red lipstick so that colors wont get out of the world, my lips saved me from color mismatching since I decided to wear my orange flats and if I didn't press too much red stains on my lips, everything on this picture won't match well!

In order to live a good life, we need powerful words that would help us gain positivity in everything that may come along. The words engraved on my stacked bracelets are the magic elements I need especially at this point in time when I struggle to survive in my academic career. I wear this nowadays to keep me reminded that I should fight in times I feel like giving up!

Dream: As a dream catcher I believe that dreams are forever and it is always up to our efforts and hardworks to make every dream come true. I am a small girl with very big dreams and I wont give up on chasing that big plan I have for myself, for my family, my loved ones and for the whole world.

Peace: That is what I always pray for, to have peace of mind so that there would be no way to over think and make my brain preoccupied with so many thoughts. I am a thinker, and most of the times I think about anything and everything that I rarely feel the calmness, quietness and peace within.

I also pray for peace in my family since my dad is already gone in this real world I know that he is already up there with the good Lord, I dont want him to worry much about us that I want love to run in our lives as a family.

For my friends, they are one of the few treasures I got, especially my intimate set of barkadas and I cant bear the pain of seeing us drifting apart little by little.

And for the world, I pray that every battle would end pretty soon and let harmony prevail in the lives of each one of us.

Hope: As long as we are waking up every morning, there is a new chance for us, new hope to help us believe that there is something great waiting for us in our day to day journey.

Faith: Every individual has a unique belief and it is important to respect the faith of our fellow. As for me, I believe in my God, I have a strong faith in Him that I lift up everything to Him. As long as I do my part to work hard for what I want and need, I know that God will always make a way. And if what I want doesn't come true, I believe that He would take me to a place where I truly belong and give me something that is really meant to be mine. Often time my faith is tested by sorrowful circumstances but prayers had saved me and its power could really move mountains.

Luck: Well I really don't believe that luck chooses only a few people, what I believe in is that all of us are lucky and that our gift of luck is equal. It is always up to us on how we use our luck, there are people who are very "madiskarte" that is why luck is obvious in their lives. As for me, I exert 100% effort to let that luck shine in my life.

It was my first time to work with her in shoots, I have been so makulit to her that I want to do an outfits post this week. Even if its just the first time she already knows how to capture my angle and take photos that I would surely love!

I just had the most stupid schedule today! I have my 7 am class on Clinical Chemistry and THE Mr. Balce won't be around because of certain responsibilities but as a major subject he gave us a seatwork to be accomplished for one and a half hour. It was a bonus activity for us to make us catch up with our spoiled grades on the previous quizzes but it was still so hard that we all panicked at it. But I believe that I did my very best in answering the questions, its only up to the power of his red pen and my prayers for the grade verdict. Well guys please pray for me that I can pass the first semester with flying colors, please? just a little favor.

Then I have my 8:30-10:00 Compute subject but then the teacher has not yet arrived. Prelims is fast approaching and I don't think that we could still catch up with the lost time. It has been 3 weeks now since school started, I hope the registrar would finalize the schedules and profs for my block.

We don't want to waste time doing nothing, so my friends and I decided to go to the house of Jomaica and have some chill time together. For the first time, we were able to relax our minds and ourselves and had some unwinding moments by watching movies and chitchats.

By 2pm, were back to school for out Genetics class only to find out that one of the best professors at Ceu would be giving up her time on our period to give way to a laboratory class then we just found ourselves with no one to teach us. We waited for almost 7 hours for that last subject and we ended up with none. But whats best at it is that we pampered ourselves for 7 long hours.

In the middle of an unproductive day, my Orange saviors was to the rescue. I have been spending a lot of time with Rex and Mj nowadays just drinking milk tea our forever obsession. Thank you guys for spending your nights with me, best friend award goes to both of you because you're with me all along whether I am on the level of extreme nirvana or in the verge of giving up and of course for supporting me in my passion, blogging! And if you still worry about the thought that one day I will turn my back to you, it is rest assured that it will never ever happen. Through thick and thin, In good times and in bad we will still be Power oranges forever! Aww

And as for the look, how do you like my aura for today guys? It is just a casual night. This is the real me when I go out on a chill day. For once I wanted to escape from wearing my all white uniform!
