50 Shades of Gray: Pray for the Philippines

One lazy outfit for a rainy day!
It is unusual for me to wear something that doesn't allow colors to burst at its finest. I often contradict my friends whenever they adore stuffs in brown, black or grays and I always tell them I dislike those colors because I want something colorful. But now its time to stoop down to that principle and try to innovate on dressing up statements. I decided to go monochromatic today with gray!
The title is inspired by the popular 50 Shades of Grey by EL James and so as I connected it with the dominant hue of this outfit.

This is what I wore last Sunday before leaving for Manila, it was raining too hard so overdressing is a big no no! This is an ordinary version of me. I remember the time when I was still clueless about fashion and style, I used to go out wearing simple shirt and jeans but now it seems like my fashion sense is evolving but of course the teenage girl's way of dressing up and forever young feeling and simplicity is still part of my day to day dressing up!

Leggings: Zara
Shoes: Geox

Lipstick: Clinique

Guys please PRAY FOR THE PHILIPPINES! Prayers can always move mountains.
We are experiencing a very scary natural disaster caused about by typhoons, rains, and flash floods and we cant control nature when it hits us terribly but our prayers can make everything better.
It wouldn't rain forever and if we are united in the name of God there would always be a rainbow after the rain and we can walk together on sunshine.

At the moment we are in the gray hue of the prism everything's black and white, if things would get better we could all go back to a very colorful kaleidoscope world!

God bless the Philippines
Stay safe everyone!

The Dark Knight Rises

This is what I wore last Saturday on my date with my friends, after the heartbreaking, mind boggling exams we had, we decided to chill out and enjoy the best life even just for a while. My friend Inekah treated us for a movie at Gateway and that was just the best escape my barkada and I could ever have! We decided to watch The Dark Knight and I could say that that was just the best movie I have watched for the early quarter of the semester, that my friends and I found ourselves saying the 3 words OH MY GOD for our amusement on the cast, the effects, the climax, twists and the whole story. Thank you my dear friends, we all deserve to be happy after all the stress we have just experienced!

I really have no idea that we would be watching The Dark Knight on that day so my outfit accidentally matched the theme of our day. I am not used in seeing myself edgy because the Jhavoo attitude is all about colors and being in black and white is something rare for somebody like me. But humans evolve everyday, I am starting to learn how to dress up in to something different, I believe I should not just stick in just one style but dress up to describe what is going on in my life at the moment.

The wild cat on my print was so Catwoman, I am even excited to blog about the connecting of my outfit and the movie. And the blazer I am wearing brings the "dark" side of the knight, Batman.

My new lovey, the spikes bracelet! I have been looking for this all around the corner since summer, good thing SM is getting trendy now and when I saw the last piece, I knew on that moment that it is meant to be mine. To add more metallic taste I also wore that metal cuff I bought for 50% off. It is indeed the rise of the Metallic Dark Knight!

I miss you so much guys! Its been a week since I did not get in touch of my laptop, my blog, and my clothes. Blame the heavy school load brought about by the preliminary exams we had last week, the reason why I have a haggard face and big eye bags. And I wish all the sleepless nights I had last week would pay off. Wish me luck, I have just survived the first round of the roller coaster and tomorrows the start of something more crucial and toxic. Imagine how I only got two days to breathe and unwind. Yes two days, then I have to get myself back to reality once again. If only Medtech life would be as easy as dressing up and blogging then I can be the happiest girl living in her teenage dream but the track I chose is the hardest point in my life so far that I am deprived of almost all the best things in life, the only thing that keeps me strong is that I have to enjoy the hardships because the battle would bring me into a world of brighter tomorrow!

The Beatles

The Beatles Shirt: H&M
Shorts: Limited Too
Shoes: Geox
Bag: Lacoste
Earrings: Borrowed from my sister
Vintage Round Shades: from Anagon's collection (BU3)

The shirt has been stuck in the closet for a month now and if I wont wear it now I might end up not wearing it at all. My peg for today is very vintage brought about by the prints on my shirt. Who would ever forget THE BEATLES, It has been part of history and the industry; and even if I to that generation of the 60's I should be considered as someone who values all that has been part of the archives of the earth, besides The Beatles would always be THE BEATLES. To George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney and John Lennon, thank you for giving the world the best melodies! I was just listening to their songs last night and I felt like I was transformed to be in a world of really good and original pop rock music.

I saw my aunt wearing this kind of John Lennon shades from Rayban last April, I thought it was like so old fashioned having those kind of extremely round glasses that I didn't like it first. But when I saw Patricia Prieto stood out as she wore these babies, uhhh I found myself eyeing on every online store where I could purchase a piece it was only by that time wherein I appreciated my aunt and her shades statement. I was really very lucky to buy them at the bazaar (BU3) last week from Ana Gonzales at a very very cheap price! Thanks Ana, this item made me look like a swagger!

The shades also complements my shirt, we all know that these round glasses are John Lennon's and that man is part of the four guys on the shirt, more emphasis on him! I can do the coolest match ever! These babies made me look Wow! Wherein Vintage meets Chic!

Geox are really my comfort shoes. They never ever give pain upon my feet. I like this pair more than the other one I wore on my previous post because it is very soft and my soles could really rest on its platforms. If you plan to do something that requires a lot of walking to do, choose Geox, its best for you!

Today I feel like a living legend!
The generation nowadays are very modern but sometimes I want to escape from the trends and go back to the time that I haven't experience at all so that I can say that I don't only live with the present but also learned from the yesterdays. I wish I have a time machine and go back to the past to meet the greatest legendary people, experience good music, be at the most beautiful places and have the best life!

Laces and Shorties

Bound to watch Men In Black 3 today, well the outfit wasn't fit for the movie because I was so lazy to look for edgy outfits in the closet so I decided to wear something that would make the most out of the summer season. Since it was a hot day, I want to show off a little skin but still remained conservative. The openings of the laces on the top showed of a little body yet the black tube hindered it to show it all. I paired them with denim shorts which is one of my classical favorite and match the cream color of the lace top with my dirty white shoes

Lace top: 21 Little Secrets
I super love their delivery services and even reminded me to be different, be impractical, be daring, and be anything beyond ordinary.
Tube: just saw it in the closet
Denim Shorts: LEI
Shoes: Geox
Lipstick: Satin Pink Nouveau by Mac
