Corporate in Green

The perks of being a blogger happens this 2013, I am happy to tell you that I together with Pampanga Fashion Bloggers are doing a collaboration with Clarkisit, a website that would be launched pretty soon, this is the first project that surprised us on the first quarter of the year and we are so blessed to be trusted by people in the society and it is such an honor to be working with people who appreciates who you are and interested in your craft and passion. Being a fashion blogger, we get to be judged by a lot of people because of our fashion obsession and style staple making them think that our worlds revolve only around clothes, shoes, bags, brands and publicity but that is a totally wrong notion. Fashion blogging leads to advertising and marketing and not about bragging and flaunting what you have, then you just share your stories and your whole life through outfit photos, if you really read every line on a bloggers post and not just look at the pictures then you can get motivation and inspiration in it. We don't use blogging to let the world know we have this and and that, we blog to be expressive of what we are and I am thankful that Clarkisit was able to see our mission as bloggers that's why I swear I would never disappoint them and I would strive hard to write great stories behind outfits as a way of expressing my gratitude to these kind of people.

Dress: Gap
Coat/Blazer: Zara
Shoes: Jellybean
Belt: borrowed from co-blogger Ate Tse
Necklace: SM Department Store
Earrings: SM Department Store

This is 2013's jumpstarter, and so the bloggers decided that we go color coded that day and we chose EMERALD GREEN since it is also the lucky color of the year and it somehow symbolize our unity in fashion and the staffs of Clarkisit were very happy to see us having uniformity it was like their smiles and stares were screaming "Aww, these bunch of people are so cute" and to our surprise the color matches the office of Clarkisit, everything was just so perfect.

The major drawback on this outfit is that I wasn't really at my best in wearing it because the moment I knew we would be wearing green, this is the only thing I have in my closet, the first time I saw the dress I even laughed at it because I thought it was a grass skirt or whatever and scolded mom for buying it then one day to my surprise that's the only dress I needed, so I have no choice. I chose to make use of what I have instead of buying something new then ending up wearing it only once.
The dress doesn't perfectly hug my body, so I borrowed Ate Tse's belt and covered up with a blazer to give a touch of maturity in a corporate attire. I had this corpo look in a modern twist.
If you pay attention to the details of the dress, its just so dramatic because it has drapings on it making it look like a grass skirt or maybe it would be better if I use the words Nina used to describe it, something so Tinkerbell.

Dark as Black

Top: Zara
Skirt: SM Department Store
Shoes: Jellybean

There's something different about this post, i took the photos and edited it via iphone. I cant believe that my phone would give me an output as sharp and has good resolution as the images taken from a dslr, well I bet I'd be using it more now since I have it with me every single moment of my life compared to the camera which my sister brought with her all along due to the demands of her course.

This outfit gave me a very matured look and it has transformed me into a woman, I guess reality has get in the way now to make me realize that I am not getting any younger. I love the elegance and sophistication black offers, it is really something that would never get mainstream.

Everything here seems to be so dramatic, from the patterns and cut outs on my top up to the draping of the mullet skirt. And this is what made me come up with the realization that the look can be related to true life, the dark side has all the dramas in it and we have to find the light to take us our from darkness and live a bright life painted with colors of love, happiness and contentment.

Fashion fades, but Style is Eternal

Haute Orange Leopardess

This is my first outfit for the PFB X Maligaya168 collaboration project. The staff of Maligaya 168 already prepared the clothes that we are going to wear and what we have to do is to style it and wear it in a way that would be presentable to the people watching and to the camera's flash which is of course something that every blogger should have, the talent for great styling and fashion statement.  The first walk down the runway gave me mini heart attacks but then I did not let fear ruin my first ever fashion show participation that's why I just enjoyed every step I made and savored the moment to take away all the nervousness and stress then I found myself having fun as I was modelling.

Top: Sam-Au c/o Maligaya 168 (Sponsor)
Palazzo Pants: SM Department Store
Shoes: Jellybean
Necklace: The Hook
Bangles: H&M

I want my entrance to give an "ooomppphhh" feeling to the crowd so I decided to cheat my height by wearing a palazzo pants that made me look four to five inches taller plus of course the magic of the heels. I turned the dress into a fashionable top so as to achieve the look I want to have and so as not to expose my big tummy because the dress is hugging my body so tight.
This outfit is also a combination of class and colors, the animal prints on the sleeves of the dress gives a taste of sophistication even if animal prints are so mainstream nowadays, I believe that I brought it up with elegance and it did not even look as overrated as it is and I good thing the bronze metallic bangles matched it. As for the colors, the bright orange palazzo did not overpower the simplicity and elegance of the top and did not gave conflict to the combination instead it was the ensemble that would catch the eyes of the viewers because of the height it added to me and the color itself is very striking to everyone, and since I am known to be an expert of color coding, the necklace that I got from The Hook showed my talent on how good I am in matching up a burst of crayolas that necklace supposed to be part of my giveaway but I just fell deeply in love with it just because its orange and very catchy!

Here's the collection of Sam-Au modeled by yours truly and my co bloggers and the mastermind of all of these.

I published this post today because the colors are incorporated for the season, I just want to great you all a Happy Halloween! Boo yah! take care everyone and enjoy!

Stay tuned for several outfit posts worn for the event!

You and Me are meant to be XXX

Top: H&M
Ombre shorts: Guess DIY
Studded Bag: no brand
Necklace: SM Department Store
Earrings: SM Department Store
Ring: Quiapo thrifts
Heels: Jellybean

A sweet statement on my top!
This made me believe that there is really such thing as destiny. There would always be that one person who is meant to be yours for the rest of your lives together. Have you found that person already?

Trying to put on accessories! I am so happy how my earrings and my fringed necklace and the rest of the miscellaneous stuffs matched my look!

I'm so in love with this clutch bag, giving me a very edgy appeal. I bet you like it too, don't you?
The ring also complemented everything perfect for a very rock and roll vibes.

This is a DIY project i did last summer. I have been drooling over ombre shorts all over the web and since almost all the stocks of ombres offered by the coolest online shops rapidly go out of stock I decided to make my own and this is what I got.

I ransacked my closet and found this Guess pants (originally) I had since I was a kid, then cut it intootsomething very very short then did a little fraying at the bottom part of the shorts and then started soaking them on a bleach solution until it looked like that. I only soaked the half part of the shorts so that the original jean texture would still be seen giving it an ombre peg!
This is actually my first DIY project and I am so happy with how it turned out! Try yours.

How do you like my look?
I still look so girly even if I try my best stooping low to that level. For once in my life, I wanna feel like a rocker punky edgy girl but I guess I'm really not fit on that kind of fashion genre.
Beyond that thought, I still love my welcoming look for July!

I really love it when my sister is the one taking pictures of me (sorry Keis) hahahaha she really knows my angle and excellent in the lighting stuff and I love how she makes me look tall on the full body shots!

Hello July!
Wishing you all guys an awesome month. I know days would be like a roller coaster ride but take it easy, scream like there's no tomorrow when your'e afraid, get thrilled with everything that may come along, just keep holding on, raise your hands when your'e no longer a coward, breathe in breathe out, stay calm and have fun, keep in mind that you wont fall down coz you'll stay safe no matter how high you go up and hard you come down and enjoy every minute of the ride.

Through sunshine and rain

This is what I wore last night at Miss O's (my second year highschool adviser) 30th birthday! I was really excited that when my buddies invited me I was like " Okay Ill come home straight from Manila just to be with you guys" without thinking that the final examination day would be on Thursday already but good thing our Trigo teacher decided to keep Wednesday as our study day.

It was raining hard in the afternoon that I have to wear something to keep me warm and I ended up with this longsleeves top which I pulled up because the moment I was about to go and finished dressing up was the time the rain stopped pouring. Why the hell does May bring forth heavy rain with matching lightning and thunder effect huh?

Top and Shorts: Refill
Heels: Jellybean

This is my favorite photo ever and the first thing that came out of my mind was "Whenever you feel like dancing, you don't have to dance alone, you know you know you should already know, I choose you" yes, from Mario. Well, seen it like moving, coz I wasn't that stiff to do that pose.

This pair of heels are so memorable for me because its the first chunky heeled shoes I bought by myself, it was love at first sight. Wish I could go to school with this. Hahaha why does med courses have to be so strict?

Very plain and simple in front

But details are at the back
Buttons and Cut out pockets

What's your typical rainy day outfit look like?
